My work has been featured on platforms like Netflix and distributed internationally. I've partnered with brands including Staples, HCA Healthcare, JennAir Appliances, Lipscomb University, D1 Sports, and CycleBar, delivering impactful commercial and branded content. One of my videos—created for Weighting Comforts—garnered over 2 million views and played a key role in launching a new industry segment.

As a director I believe its my job to set the tone for the production day. I’m known for bringing a calm, collaborative presence to set, a positive attitude, and a focus on problem-solving—ensuring the production process is both efficient and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Commercial Work: A1 Appliances & JennAir

This is one of my favorite commercials I've created. I produced and directed a series of three spots for A1 Appliances and JennAir. A year later, the client returned with a unique request—to craft a new commercial using only the original footage.

To develop the script, I asked my wife to describe one of her closest friends, Joan. Her words became the heart of the story, and she also lent her voice for the voiceover in what became "Pepper Friendship."

Comedy and Classic Film Influence

During graduate film school, I took every opportunity to study and create comedy. I became a student of vaudeville and the silent film era, drawing particular inspiration from the legendary Buster Keaton. His influence shaped my storytelling and visual style, especially in physical comedy and timing.

You can see this inspiration come to life in a scene from my feature-length kids’ film, The Prairie Pirates, featuring Professor Drew Schmidt and real-life store owner Mr. Jansen. It’s a tribute to the timeless humor and heart of classic cinema
